Join me at the amazing PRINT HOUSE in Asheville, NC where I'll be teaching how to explore the creative potential of Akua Liquid Pigments. Perfect for artists of all levels, from complete beginners to experienced printmakers. This 3-day intensive will introduce innovative techniques for layering, blending, and designing bold color patterns on kozo (mulberry) paper.

In this immersive class, you’ll:


  • Learn how to create both delicate washes and vibrant, saturated hues with Akua soy-based, water-washable pigments


  • Explore approaches that merge printmaking, painting, and dyeing techniques


  • Experiment with multilayered color and pattern design


  • Transform your printed papers into three-dimensional box structures


  • Learn how to utilize your prints into your personal print editions, mixed media works, and paintings



By the end of the workshop, participants will have a collection of richly printed papers and unique sculptural works, as well as a deeper understanding of how to push the expressive possibilities of Akua Liquid Pigments.

Time: 10:00am – 4:00pm daily
